Lippi: Italy Ogah Underestimating the opponent

Italian coach, Marcello Lippi, do not feel satisfied or disappointed that his team are in Group F of the 2010 World  Cup finals  in South Africa. However, Lippi insisted that he would not underestimate the power of  his opponent.

The statement relating to the World Cup group draw that was held in Cape Town. Italy are in Group F along with Paraguay, New Zealand, and Slovakia.

As defending champion, Italy was in a group is quite light. Italy is expected to seamlessly into the last 16. However, Lippi would not agree. He asserted that he would not underestimate opponents. He also will continue working to improve the condition of the team.

"The difficulty in the group will increase if you are too underestimate your opponent," he said.

"We will face important opponents. We are not satisfied or disappointed. We will study the strength of opponents and then confront them with our best strength," he added
