"After the World Cup is over, I'm not going to re-train Juventus. I am not a mascot Juventus," said the coach who is now the 61-year-old told Sky Sports 24.

"I was only given a few tips for Juve officials by saying that Ciro Ferrara is a very good coach. And I also explained to them that the decision to recruit Fabio Cannavaro and Fabio Grosso is an appropriate action," he continued.

However, he also explains the lack of Ferrara as coach of Juventus, who is now the worse performance.

"Ciro has made some mistakes. But that was only because of age. He has a good personality and charisma. And he has done an excellent job with the coach. He also has some clever ideas for the future of Juventus," he added.
