Lippi: Italy Do not Need To Idol!

Italian National Team coach, Marcello Lippi, insisted he could not possibly meet the public's desire  to include every  player  idol in the squad that will compete at the 2010 World  Cup in South Africa. According to him, the team just need quality players instead of the idol.

The statement addressing the Italian public pressure on Lippi to call Antonio Cassano and Mario Balotelli. Public rate, both these players deserve a chance to compete in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. However, Lippi budge. He was determined to not meet the public desire.

"Obviously people want their idol is in the national team. But, they (the idol, Red) will only play in the national team if you have the same quality with his colleagues. We must be objective in building the team," he said.

"No relationship is complicated. I do not have a problem with any player," he added
